1. What Authenticity Means at Mintsealed
In the hobby and collectibles industry, authenticity is everything. Tampered boxes, resealed products, and counterfeit items are unfortunately a real concern for collectors. At Mintsealed, we have built our entire business around eliminating that concern for our customers.
Every product we sell is:
- Purchased directly from authorized hobby distributors with established, verified supply chains
- Stored securely in our facility in Chino Valley, Arizona under conditions that protect product integrity
- Shipped with care to ensure the factory seal arrives at your door in the exact condition it left our warehouse
- Never subjected to any form of tampering, reweighing, searching, or resealing — under any circumstances
2. Authorized Sourcing
We only purchase inventory from authorized, licensed distributors who are recognized by the manufacturers of the products we carry. This means:
- Our supply chain is clean, documented, and verifiable
- Every product can be traced back to its original manufacturer
- We do not purchase from secondary markets, private sellers, or unverified sources
- You are guaranteed to receive a product that has never been in anyone else's hands before yours
We carry products from leading hobby brands including but not limited to Panini, Topps, Upper Deck, Pokémon, Leaf, and others — all sourced through proper, authorized channels.
3. Seal Integrity Verification
Before any order leaves our facility, our team performs a seal integrity check on every item. This includes:
- Visual inspection of all factory seals, shrink wrap, and packaging
- Verification that all seals are intact, unbroken, and show no signs of tampering
- Confirmation that packaging matches manufacturer specifications
- Any item that does not pass our inspection is immediately removed from inventory and not sold
If for any reason a product arrives at your door with a compromised seal or packaging that does not appear factory original, we want to know immediately — see Section 6 below.
4. What We Will Never Do
We believe in radical transparency. Here is what you will never encounter when shopping at Mintsealed:
- ❌ Searched boxes — we never open, search, or inspect the contents of any sealed product
- ❌ Weighed boxes — we never weigh individual packs or boxes to cherry-pick contents
- ❌ Resealed products — we never reseal any product that has been opened
- ❌ Counterfeit products — we never knowingly purchase or sell inauthentic merchandise
- ❌ Gray market sourcing — we never purchase from unauthorized or unverified sources
- ❌ Bait and switch — what you order is exactly what you receive
5. Authenticity & the Nature of Sealed Collectibles
While we guarantee the authenticity and sealed integrity of every product we sell, it is important to understand that:
- The contents of sealed collectible products are determined entirely by the manufacturer
- Mintsealed has no control over and makes no guarantee regarding the specific cards, autographs, inserts, or memorabilia items found inside any opened product
- Pack ratios, hit rates, and card distributions are set by the manufacturer and are outside our control
- Opening sealed collectibles involves an inherent element of chance — this is the nature and excitement of the hobby
Our authenticity guarantee covers the condition and integrity of the sealed product — not the specific contents inside.
6. If You Have a Concern
If your order arrives and you believe the seal has been compromised, the packaging appears tampered with, or you have any concern about the authenticity of your product, please contact us immediately — within 48 hours of delivery:
